Kentucky Whistleblower Act Does Not Apply To Municipalities
The Eastern District of Kentucky recently held that Kentucky's Whistleblower Act, KRS 61, does not apply to municipalities because they are not "political subdivisions of the Commonwealth." The court also affirmed that the Whistleblower Act does not impose individual civil liability.
